Records Manager Washington, DC/Northern VA

Job Description: As a Records Manager, you will be responsible for planning, administration, governance, and process definition and implementation for ICF clients/customers. You will serve as a liaison for the IT organization, interfacing with stakeholders inside and outside the office. This position is located on client site in Washington, DC and/or Northern VA area.

Key Responsibilities: * Define and communicate a Records Management Plan * Define and implement Records Management processes/procedures * Define and participate in governance structures associated with Records Management * Facilitate the definition and implementation of Records Management policy along with stakeholders including retention, archival, extension, disposition, roles, and permissions * Provide relevant tools and best practices intelligence * Define and implement Records Management metadata * Define and implement Records Management performance metrics and reporting


Basic Qualifications: * Degree in Computer Science, Library Sciences, or related field * 5 years of Records Management experience o Planning o Policy o Governance structures o Administration o Process Description/Definition o Industry Best Practices o Tools and Implementation * Ability to acquire and maintain a government Public Trust or higher security clearance Professional Skills: * Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy * Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills * Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced client environment * Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information * Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors * Reliable and dependable with a willingness to occasionally work outside of standard business hours as needed to meet client deadlines and/or participate in corporate initiatives and professional development programs Preferred Skills/Experience: * Experience with Records Management Standards such as ISO 15489-1; National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) processes and procedures; DoDI 5015.02 * Knowledge of Federal Records Management Law, Regulations, and Policy such as the Federal Records Act * Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) Certified Records Manager (CRM) or similar certification preferred * Experience with IT Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) process About ICF International:
